This request has the following parts:
1) A setting on the shop which does not allow the player to sell items, only buy.
2) A 'vending machine' graphic.
3) Several vending machine stores (one perhaps does ammo, another perhaps does medical supplies, a third perhaps does liquids)
4) A tag, similar to the terminal (type=32) which launches a dialog, but different in that it directly launches a shop dialog

These would be good in a few of the "abandoned facilities" throughout FDRPG.
For instance, "Opening a can of bots..." warehouse before descending, or in the
later areas of the Disruptor Shield level there are certain areas that were
clearly abandoned (libraries, shops, etc.). Though there is nobody working the
shops (droids killed 'em all -- makes sense), perhaps the vending machines
could provide supplies in the tail-end of that quest, as I often find myself
running low around that point. Of course, one could just say, "Suck it up --
just teleport to town and teleport back," but I digress.

Terminal-like vending machines have been implemented in r5379. Part 2 has been
completed with 3 vending machine designs; part 1 still needs to be worked on;
part 3 sounds odd (maybe med-kit stands would make sense in dangerous
workplaces, but vending machines that casually sell ammo?. Then again, the FDRPG
universe is a little bit crazy...); part 4 has been worked around, as the dialog
triggered by type=32 immediately opens a trade screen through EveryTime code.

Isn't ammunition sold freely in the United States in places such as malls? Ammo
vending machines would not be *that* far-fetched in the US.
So I don't think ammo vending machines are entirely inappropriate, but where
would they logically be placed? :/

Mmmh maybe we could put them near autoguns, if there are any in dungeons?
Also, I think the current vending machines are quite big, they're taller than
the current default walls we have!

I thought the story took place in Europe? :P
Is the ammo sold through vendors, or unsupervised through a machine? Because
after all, ammo isn't candy...
Logical placement is also a concern. I don't think autoguns will buy their own
ammo, and the people who maintain them will probably bring some ammo from a
storage somewhere. Though I suppose it could be used for humoristic effect: "Oh
snap, I forgot the ammo for the autoguns! Got a dime?"
Yes, the vending machines are taller than the walls, but so are many obstacles.
Even doors are a little bit taller. I think it's fine. :)

I don't know if you've seen Aliens but at some point in the movie they set up
automated sentry guns and those run out of ammo. I think it's fun to have an
ammo vending machine next to a few autoguns - exactly the line you thought
about.

Maybe we can make it possible to have tux selling ammo to the guns (so they
shoot again/get *enabled* )?

Note: I there already is some autogun (with aiming!) concept (bot with movement
speed = 0) on level 24, but it still lacks some proper rotation (and shooting?)
animation which makes it actually look like an autogun. :)

I guess that in secret facilities, like the one of "Tania's Escape", the staffs
won't abandon the facility to bring ammo, and moving a large amount of ammo call
too much the attention. Secret Facilities would have ammo vending machines, so
the staff doesn't need leave them post because the ammo ended.
If needed, there could be also a pharse "Insert you Staff ID Card or insert a
few coins" before using this machine. If tux could get a Staff ID Card item, he
could gain some ammo for free, but limited to tux don't use this to don't pay
for ammo anymore.
